The Pershore Road is one of Birmingham’s key arterial roads and a major bus route, but the section from Pebble Mill Road to Cartland Road is subject to speeding and regular incidents and accidents.

Cllrs Brigid Jones and Karen McCarthy are calling on Birmingham City Council and West Midlands Police to install average speed cameras and road safety measures such as crossing cameras, junction improvements and speedwatch operations on the Pershore Road and surrounding roads to improve safety for residents in the area.
