Our Party and our movement must be rooted in our communities. In Birmingham, we are fighting vitally important local elections in May 2022.

We are looking for enthusiastic members and activists who will stand in those elections. Birmingham Labour Group will be there to guide you through the process if you decide to stand – and support your work as a Councillor if you get elected.

For more information about how you can serve your community and fight for a better future, visit Labour’s training hub on becoming a councillor.  (Labour Login Required)

Birmingham Labour Councillors are running a series of training sessions in January and February for those who are thinking about standing as a councillor.

If you are interested in applying to join these sessions, complete the application form below by Monday January 11th and we will get in touch with you.

Birmingham Labour Group is running a series of sessions for members and activists who are considering standing as a candidate in the 2022 Local Elections. If you are interested in being involved and helping run our city, complete the form and we will get back to you.

If you are not available due to childcare, work or other commitments, please say so in the final response box and we will endeavour to ensure that you still receive support from our Training Programme. If there is high demand for these sessions then we may offer a repeated training scheme.
